Have you ever wanted to learn how to make incredible hand made soap for you and your family? Or maybe you want to start a small business? This two day workshop will teach you all you need to know to safely make your own incredible cold process soaps from scratch! In this two day workshop, you’ll be able to: create any soap using soap calculators, learn the art of “superfatting”, formulating your own personal blends, using natural additives or colourants, tips on scenting formulations, sourcing your raw ingredients from suppliers, different types and methods of molds that you can use, and most importantly, learn how to do all of this without the use of any synthetic or artificial ingredients! Soap made the old fashioned way!
The workshop fees include all raw materials for students, taking home approximately 2 pounds of cured, scented soap. The course instructor will be Guy Rochon, Owner of Blue Cabin Natural Products in Tatamagouche, NS. Guy has over 30 years of experience with soap making.
Tuition: $130.00 for the two 1/2 day workshops ($50.00 deposit required upon signing up)
